After a complementary initial consultation for you to determine if you’d like to work with me as your doula, you can expect the following:

Prenatal Care:

• 1 prenatal visit, usually in your home.
• Support in creating a birth plan that outlines your wishes and accommodates for the unexpected.
• Close phone and email contact throughout your last weeks of pregnancy as questions and challenges arise.
• 24 hour on call phone support three weeks prior to due date.
• Create a belly cast and/or photographs of the pregnant couple if that appeals to you.

Labor Support:

• Continuous emotional, physical and informational support.
• Support can begin in your home to help you stay there as long as you'd like and also to help with deciding (in conjunction with your doctor or midwife) when to transfer to your birthplace in order to make that transition as smooth as possible.
• Photography of your family’s labor journey if you wish (you will receive this on a disk with the prenatal photos). I silence my camera and use no flash so there is minimal interruption of your experience.

Postnatal Care:

• Celebrate your journey!
• 24 hour phone support for the first three weeks of the postpartum period.
• Close phone and email support to insure that your postpartum experience is going as smoothly as possible and to refer you to professionals should any needs arise.
• One home visit, depending on your family's needs. If there are further postpartum needs, I can meet your needs based on an hourly rate.
• Birth Narrative Keepsake.
